The Vice-Chancellor of the Tamale Technical University (TaTU), Professor Abass Braimah has paid a courtesy call to two chiefs within the Choggu and Wurishe traditional areas where the University is located.

He visited the Choggu Naa and the Wurishe palace the same day where the Chiefs congratulated the Vice-Chancellor on his appointment and pledged his skin's support for the development of the University.

The chiefs assured that their doors are always opened for the University Management to consult or engage with him any time the need arises.

On his part, the Vice-Chancellor promised to make good use of the assurance any time the University requires their support and counsel.

He also congratulated the chief on his elevation to the "Nam" of Choggu.

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Saeed Ibn Bashiru, Registrar Alhaji Yakubu Iddrisu, Director of Public Affairs Osman Mubarik, and Assistant Registrar Vice-Chancellor's Secretariat Baba Yaaka.
