Tain Yabraso-Chief to storm Jubilee House over abandoned health facility

Tain Yabraso chiefs and people are threatening to Storm Jubilee house and Parliament over abandoning the only clinic in the area.

 On 17th December 2021 TV XYZ/ Power FM filed a story about Yabraso chiefs threatening to demonstrate against the government over an abandoned clinic that was completed in 2016. With all these attempts it hasn't yielded results.

They say the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has failed in finding a solution to Commission the Clinic to solve health issues at the Yabraso and its environs.

The chiefs and the Youth of Yabraso have threatened to picket at the jubilee house if the government doesn't step in to stop continuous " Mafia Tactics" Tain District Assembly is playing against Yabraso Community.

According to them, the chiefs and leaders of the community always visit the Tain District Assembly to Commission the Clinic but have determined not to do so.

The Kyidomhene of Yabraso, Nana Yaw Owusu says, they have given President Akufo-Addo a one-month ultimatum to Commission the Clinic else they would be forced to make an appearance at the seat of government to press home their demands.

Some of the Youth expressed their concerns and have given their maximum support to their chiefs.

However, the Youth is ever ready to walk to Accra and express their displeasure to the president.

Meanwhile, The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area Honourable Lucy Acheampong stated that the Tain District Assembly is aware of the situation at Yabraso and very soon the clinic will be Commissioned for them.

Honorable Lucy also mentioned that a lot of equipment has been stolen from the facility which is the reason why it has delayed the Commissioning of the health facility.
