The Sunyani Traditional Council has installed a seven new cheifs at Asufufu and Kwaware Traditional Area of Sunyani East Municipal in the Bono Region.

The Installed Chiefs are five as well as two sub queen mothers, Nana Bonsu Kogyeahene is the newly Benkumhene, Nana Yaw Agyapong as the Kyedomhene, Nana Danquah is the Akyempimhene, Nana Kwaku Tufour whomis tge Manwerehene and Nana Oppong Adwumadze as Sanaahene respectively has been all outdoored

Nana Afia Fumwaa was also outdoored as the Asufufu Hemmaa Kyeame and Nana Yaa Daakoa Ampem as the Akyempimhemaa of Asufufu.

The Installation rites were welcomed by all the community members as well as the traditional authorities to offer their support to the occasion which Nana Kumi Gyeabour ll, the Cheif of Asufufu and Kwaware Traditional Area together with her queen mother Nana Abena Agyeiwaa Kodie and all the other traditional leaders including Nana Appiah Kubi, Akyeamehene, Nana Apraku Boampon-the Sunyani Baakoniabahene who representedbl the Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri the -Sunyanimanhen, Nana Yeboah Pene- Chiraahemaa were all present to make the occasion a momorable one.

The newly installed chiefs and queen mothers were introduce to the gathering by Nana Appiah Kubi before the traditional leaders and dignitaries during the outdooring.

Nana Kumi Gyeabour ll , urged them to live in peace with their wives regardless of their position, show love to others selflessly with Godliness service over their subjects.

He finally charged them to be diligent and called for unity among themselves for the progress of their various communities.
