The paramount queen mother of Sunyani Nana Akosua Dua Asor- Brayie II has stessed the need for a watchdog committee in the Asufufu community to curb crime in the area. 

She explained that most of the youth in the area are engaged in "sakawa" , drugs, stealing, smoking of marijuana and other social vices hence the need for a community watchdog to help protect lives and properties. She is hopeful that a community security will help clamp down crime.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs and people of Asufufu are appealling to Nana Akosua Dua Asor- Brayie II to settle land boundary disputes between some members of the community because such disputes hinder development. The people of Asufufu also emphasized on lack of potable water, toilet facility and other essential amenities.

In her response Nana Akosua Dua Asor- Brayie II assured them that they will soon see development as she will do her best to support them.
