Suhum NDC Women's Wing Strategizes For Reorganization Ahead Of 2024 Election.

Speaking to the media the Suhum NDC Women's Organizer, Madam Lydia Ohenewaa Afasi Komla commended the women Organizers for working hard to improve their votes marginally and the gains of the party in the 2020 elections in the Suhum which manifested in increasing the Parliamentary seats from five to eight in the region.

Suhum NDC Women's Wing Strategizes For Reorganization Ahead Of 2024 Election.

The Suhum National Democratic Congress Women's Wing in the Eastern Region has met to strategise for reorganization for the party ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The meeting organized by the Suhum NDC Women Organizer was attended by all the Branch Constituency Women Organizers and their deputies in the Constituency.

The meeting was to assess the performance of the women's wing in the Constituency before and during the 2024 election.

The women's wing reflected on both challenges and successes chocked and tabled recommendations ahead of their activities in the coming years ahead of the 2024 elections. 

Speaking to the media the Suhum NDC Women's Organizer, Madam Lydia Ohenewaa Afasi Komla commended the women Organizers for working hard to improve their votes marginally and the gains of the party in the 2020 elections in the Suhum which manifested in increasing the Parliamentary seats from five to eight in the region.

She announced that the immediate focus of the party is to embark on reorganization ahead of the 2024 election which the women will play a vital role.

She stated that the victory for NDC in 2024 is non-negotiable therefore urged the women Organizers to work harder and go all out for victory.

 The Suhum Women's Organizer of the NDC, Lydia Ohenewaa Afasi Komla encourages the women in the Suhum to be more vigilant and puts President Akufo Addo on strict accountability radar to prevent him from causing a further mess to the economy in his last tenure.

Madam Lydia said the collapse of businesses in all matters that the women of Ghana must have an interest in because they have both short and long-term implications for the women. So in this final term of the President, we must put Akufo Addo on the check to prevent a mess in the economy.

She made this statement during an NDC Women's wing programme to celebrate the women at the Suhum community centre. 

She added that it was part of her efforts to get in touch with every woman in the party and all authorized Constituency women leaders to help foster unity before the 2024 elections. She encouraged them to continue working hard for the sake of NDC and talk to their members in communities about policies of the NDC party that had helped the poor in society for the past years.

Eastern Regional NDC Chairman Mark Oliver Kevor, on his part, encourage the women to work hard to win the 2024 general election.

The Suhum Constituency Chairman Hon. Afasi Richard Dzipha said NDC will come to power by 2024 hence the women in the Constituency need to work hard to win the Suhum seat for the NDC party in 2024.

Among the dignitaries present at the meeting were the Eastern Regional NDC Chairman Mark Oliver Kevor, Eastern Regional Organizer, Kobore Hachman,  Etornam Richard Nyarko, Eastern Regional treasure Obibini, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, William Kwame Atamudzi,  Margeret Ansei ( Maago), the Eastern Regional women's Organiser, Shirley Naana Osei-Ampem, Ayensuano MP Nana Yaw Teddy, Vicky Zumah the red-Capert show host UTV and many more from various constituencies in the region were all present.
