Stop Buying Lands  From Settlers Of Kasoa  Iron City; They Are Not Custodian Land Owners! -Ngleshie Amanfrom Chief Raises Red Flag
Nii Kwarshie Gborlor IV, Chief of Ngleshie Amanfrom
The Divisional Chief of Ngleshie Amanfrom in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Nii Kwarshie Gborlor IV, has stated categorically that the custodian owners of Kasoa Iron City lands are the elders of the Ngleshie Amanfrom Divisional Stool under the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council at James Town in Accra.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Soireenews.com at Ngleshie Amanfrom, the chief described the recent and current settlers on Kasoa Iron City lands in the Awutu Senya East Municipality in the Central Region as imposters and "encroachers," who can't sell the said the lands to anybody.
Nii Kwarshie Gborlor IV explained that if it comes to political-administrative boundary demarcation, the Kasoa Iron City land falls within the Awutu Senya East Municipality in the Central Region but when it comes to the traditional historical boundary demarcation, Kasoa Iron City is under the jurisdiction of Ngleshie Amanfrom Divisional Stool in the Ga State.
According to the chief, the lands of the Kasoa Iron City fall within his traditional jurisdiction "disclosing that very soon the custodian owners of the Iron City lands who are the elders of Ngleshie Amanfrom would surely reclaim all their lands."
Nii Kwarshie Gborlor IV supported his claims by outlining historical traditional boundary records to prove his claims that indeed the said lands were given to the settlers by the forefathers of the Ngleshie Amanfrom to be used for mechanical engineering purposes.
He pointed out that the settlers have taken advantage of the leniency of the current elders of Ngleshie Amanfrom Divisional Stool to turn themselves into the custodian owners of Kasoa Iron City lands, thereby indiscriminately selling the lands to the various unsuspecting land developers and organizations without recourse to the national records and laws.
"I am sending this strongly worded message to the general public that those who are buying lands at Kasoa Iron from these setters and putting up building structures are at risk of losing their investments one day.
"This is because the custodian owners of Kasoa Iron City lands who are the elders of Ngleshie Amanfrom Divisional Stool had already taken legal actions against these setters who are encroachers. So very soon the judgjudgmentd be delivered," Nii Kwarshie Gborlor IV disclosed.
The Divisional Chief of Ngleshie Amanfrom reiterated that the Kasoa Iron City falls under his jurisdiction, saying that those potential land developers who ought to buy lands in the area would rather safer side when come to the elders of the Ngleshie Amanfrom Divisional Stool to do their lands transactions.
The chief noted that the Ngleshie Amanfrom Divisional is the custodian owner of the lands of Iron City and warned those self-seeking elders of the Iron City who are deceiving people and succeeded in selling the lands to them illegal should stop now.
According to Nii Kwarshie Gborlor IV, elders of the Ngleshie Amanfrom gave the said lands to settlers in Kasoa Iron City for Medical engineering purposes.
Currently, the chief mentioned that the settlers have been selling the lands for building residential houses after changing the name to Central Mechanic and Spare Parts Dealers Association (CEMSDA).
"So for the setters to say that Iron City in the central region and therefore the land belongs to the people of Awutu Senya, it is completely not true. When it comes to the political-administrative boundary, we don't have power over them, but they have to recognize that we are custodian owners of Iron City land when it comes to the historical boundary of the land," he further stressed.
