Dancehall god, Shatta Wale, has stylishly referred to Sarkodie as "a poor man who should stop asking for the president to evacuate him from "the abroad".

It would be recalled that Sarkodie and his wife, Tracy Sarkcess have been stuck in the U.S.A since the closure of the Ghanaian border due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Their prayers for the Ghanaian government's intervention were answered when the president in his last address mentioned that plans were underway to retrieve the citizens stuck abroad.

Shatta Wale has now jabbed at Sarkodie on his Snapchat page, asking him to fly home himself since he has "so much money" instead of begging the president for help.

He pointed out that Sarkodie should be the last person that should be depending on the government’s evacuation plan for the citizens stranded abroad.

"Celebritybuzz I know Sarkodie is your artiste, so you can say whatever you want to say about my YouTube money, let your artiste use his own to fly to Ghana and stop begging the President. You people fool too much...Pussy!!!,” he called.

It would seem that Shatta Wale does not realize that Sarkodie and his family could not return home even if they wanted to as it is less about the money for flight and more about the closure of the borders.

Shatta Wale made his comments as revenge for a section of Sarkodie's Sarknatives downplaying Billboard’s recognition of himself as the most-watched artiste in Ghana on the video hosting site, YouTube.
