Shatta Wale backs Afua Asantewaa; you are the Yaa Asantewaa of our day; forget about the indolent Ghanaians
Shatta Wale, a well-known dancehall performer in Ghana, has praised Afua Asantewaa for her effort in organizing a singa-thon to support Ghanaian music.

Afua Asantewaa has been under fire on social media for what some perceive to be dishonesty on her part—not disclosing that she was disqualified from the record for the longest singing marathon by one individual by Guinness World Records (GWR)—so it's possible that the past few days have been difficult for her.
Despite her disqualification, Shatta Wale calls Afua Asantewaa the “Yaa Asantewaa of our time” and says she doesn't think the assaults are justified.
