A major turning point in his personal life has been revealed by Ghanaian artist and media sensation Trigmatic, he has been divorced for three years.

In an interview on the D-Black Unkut show, he revealed the information, telling Trigmatic's narrative for the first time in public.
"I have a divorce," he said. "Many people are unaware. It's not a topic I discuss.Yes, three years have passed.
He made it clear that the choice was reached amicably and had nothing to do with his job, even though the details of the divorce were kept secret.
“No, I think COVID got us to like to be at home and so... it was very peaceful though."
Even though the marriage failed, he felt grateful and like he had grown from the experience. "The past three years have been filled with learning, resilience, and the importance of self-love," he said.

March 25, 2017, marked Trigmatic's marriage to Edith Schandorf. Even while he doesn't talk much about the divorce itself, he recently said that he's open to the idea of falling in love once more in the future.
"I will marry again if I meet the right person," he stated.
