President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs who doubles as the Omanhene of Breman Traditional Area, Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VII, has charged media practitioners to endeavour to write success and compiling stories to help sell out the good things in the Central Region to the world community.
Writing success stories about the good things in the region, the chief noted would go along way to attract prospective investors and individual personalities who want to come to the region to set up business that will raise flag of the region higher.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenew.com to deliver his new message to the chiefs and residents in the region, Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VII urged investors to capitalise on the Central Region's untapped economic potential to grow their companies and create jobs in the region.
 
He stressed that doing so would help the local economy, provide jobs and speed up the region's socioeconomic growth.
The chief mentioned that there are a lot of economic opportunity in the region, saying that the region is not one of the poorest regions in Ghana.
"We realized that when we count the regions like the Greater Accra, Ashanti and Western, the Central Region has been the fourth richest regions in Ghana.
"Our region has a lot of tourist attraction centres, so l am saying that it is high time for the journalists to sell the central region to the foreign potential investors. Let us help sell the good things of Central Region and also make the region more attractive to the investments companies and individuals," Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VII stated.
He was of the view that the region is the safe heaven for the business investments and called on the investment companies and individuals to come and invest in the region to help bring the needed development to the people.
Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VII was quick to caution the journalists to be mindful of the reports that would destroy the image of the region.
He said the the journalists should always focus on writing stories which would promote the peace and development in the region.
On the economic challenges, Odeefuo Amoakwa Boadu VII pointed out that there are numerous challenges facing Ghanaians in the year 2022 but in the grace of Almighty God we have been able to go through the storm.
"I wished and prayed that this year 2023 New year would be year of development of all mankinds and offered advises that "let us all focus on how to live in peace and unity that would help to improve our living conditions."
According to the chief,  the citizens and residents of the region should think about the development of the region than other things.
He stressed the need for the residents and citizens of the various communities within the region to give respect to the chiefs and other traditional office holders in their respective communities to ensure peaceful co-existence in the region and the nation as a whole.
Additionally, he emphasized that Ghanaians to obey and respect chiefs to enable them get good leadership for the development of their towns.
