Savannah region: North and West Gonja District MDCE Nominees verified
All assembly members were present at the confirmation ceremony at the Savannah Regional Coordinating Council's conference hall on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

The District Chief Executive nominee for the North Gonja District, Eliasu Adam popularly known as "Red Bawa" was overwhelmingly endorsed by Assembly members.
The election was conducted on a “yes” and “no” to either confirm or reject the nominee. In the process, he polled 22 votes representing a hundred per cent confirmation as the DCE.
The DCE has been re-nominated the second time to serve in that capacity. His first appointment was in 2017 as he moved from a party position to head the North Gonja District Assembly.
The North Gonja District Assembly has a total of 22 assembly members with fifteen (15) elected members and seven (7) appointed members.
It was the District Electoral Commission that conducted the election and it was held at the district assembly hall.
In a similar exercise, the West Gonja Municipal Assembly, Hon Karim Musah Kusubari was also confirmed as MCE for the assembly by assembly members.
He polled 17 “yes” votes, representing 100% endorsement of the Assembly members.
The Municipal Assembly has a total of 17 assembly members, 12 elected members and five (5) appointed members.
