Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has officially accepted Stonebwoy's apology over the misunderstanding that transpired at the Independence Square on 10th August during his Black Love-Virtual Concert recording.

It was alleged that Stonebwoy had assaulted his manager, Angel Town. Physically injuring him on a part of his face and while also having threatened him with a gun. Although the details of the incident were initially not clear as Stonebwoy and Sarkodie had refused to explain, it was clear that a bust-up had happened between Stonebwoy and Sarkodie's manager.

Sequel to this, on August 14th, 2020, Stonebwoy released a video message to apologize to Angelo and Sarkodie over the disagreement that took place between him and the former during the rehearsal for the ‘Black Love Concert’.

Sarkodie has now officially accepted the apology In a 6-minute audio press release on his official YouTube channel. He however did not narrate the details of the event as he maintained that it was not the focus of the recording.

The African rap god expressed his disappointment in Stonebwoy's decision to act the way he did. “Everyone has the right to be angry but no one has the right to assault,” he said.

"I have been in this industry for a very long time and I understand the dynamics when it comes to artistes. I know everyone has different temperament and sometimes things get out of hand…I know Stonebwoy's actions wasn’t deliberate that’s why we settled the issue and he still performed,” Sarkodie maintained.

"We are both big artistes in Ghana with a large following and I know that Stonebwoy’s management wouldn’t want to do anything to hurt the brand. It’s the same with me, my wife, my manager and all the members of my team know me very well, they know that I easily let go of issues especially when I feel it’s irrelevant and wouldn’t add anything to the Sark nation brand…. Stonebwoy is my brother and we have both worked hard to get to where we are…… and I know what happened could have forced him to drive off and boycott the concert…but after we spoke in a more calmer tone, we settled the issue amicably,”
