Sarkodie can never be bigger than me in his life -Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale stated Tuesday, August 9, on Empire 102.7fm that it is rude to compare him to Sarkodie because he arrived on the music industry much before Sarkodie did, yet people still disregard his efforts because Sarkodie is their favorite.

Where was Sarkodie when I launched 'Bandana from Ghana'? I therefore have more experience in this industry than individuals of such kind.

"So when you compare Sarkodie to me, you make him feel too big, and when I speak to Sarkodie, he feels big," said Shatta Wale.

"Sarkodie will never in his life surpass Shatta Wale in popularity. Even when there is a first born and a second born after giving birth, the second born cannot be given priority. I'm not implying that Sarkodie's endeavors are unsuccessful. "Don't compare me to Sarkodie, I'm just playing my part as a musician," he remarked.

According to Shatta Wale, who won the VGMA Artiste of the Year award twice, being compared to Sarkodie has given him wings since he believes they are on a same footing.

Presenter Ola Michael of Neat FM implied that artists like Shatta Wale would make it difficult to carry out the former French ambassador's calls for some Ghanaian artists to be awarded diplomatic passports during a recent discussion on United Showbiz.

Shatta Wale has a diss song for Ola Michael that he claims is intended to demonstrate his annoyance at constantly being used negatively as a study case.

Why did he not employ Samini? Why should Shatta Wale be used as an example in a diplomatic passport when he could have used anyone? Is it right? Let's think about it carefully, he said.
