Nana Afena Nketiah 2nd, Twafo Hene of Techiman Traditional Council in the Bono East Regional capital is calling on Government, the National Media Commission and other stakeholders to as a matter of urgency sanitize Ghana's Media space before the proliferation of Radio and Television stations negatively affect our nation.

Nana Afena Nketiah who is also a Media Mogul and Owner of Classic Fm in Techiman spoke in an exclusive interview with media practitioners in Techiman when he chaired a Town Hall meeting on the theme; "Living the authentic Christian Social Teachings through Mass Media Evangelization" and also to launch the "Lumen Christi TV Project" a new Television Station which is about to be established by the Roman Catholic Church in Ghana.


For his part, Most Reverend Dominic Yeboah Nyarko Bishop of the Techiman Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church noted that Christians could no longer sit aloof for Satan to use the proliferation of Social Media to spoil our generation therefore the Roman Catholic decision to have a Television Station to propagate the true word of God.


Finally, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan the Bono East Regional Minister who was the Special Guest at the occasion commended the Roman Catholic Church for its immense contributions to national development and urged other religious organizations to emulate their shining examples.
