Samuel Nartey George collects signatures to file suits against Ursula Owusu Akuffu and Ministry of Communication and Digitalization

The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Honourable Samuel Nartey George has commenced an action to collect signatures to press a court action against the unyielding nature of the Minister for Communications and Digitalization.

The action dubbed, "SIM RE-REGISTRATION CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT SIGN-UP FORM" with the directive, Please fill this form if you are interested in being a claimant or wish to state a claim against your telecom network provider and the NCA and the Ministry of Communication if you are or have been affected by the blockage of your SIM Card in the ongoing punitive measures that are being implemented against cards that have not been re-registered was posted on his Facebook page. "We wish to have as many genuine claimants as possible to jointly sue the above-named to restore our SIM Cards to full service", it said.

The emerging action was necessitated by the arrogant posture of the sector Minister, Ursula Owusu Akuffu in unjustly ordering the blocking of unregistered sim cards which largely was not the fault of sim card holders.
