Six Member Committee from Jubilee House Storm's NDA, Over Managerial Crisis

Soireenews has learnt that a Six Member Committee from the seat of Government (Jubilee house) have begun investigation into wrongs, that had characterised the current leadership of the Northern Development Authority as incompetent and pessimistic.

In view of these, some youth groups and power's in Government have on several occasion called for a total overhaul of administrative services at the Authority.

The committee which arrived in the region early this week has since interviewed Dr Hakeem Ahmed Wemah who happens to be the Board Chairman of NDA and other senior officers.

Among other things, the Committee investigated the leadership of NDA of alleged mismanagement, diversion of state properties, incompetence and failure to organize orientation for former CEOs and some staffs.

The Committee as part of their visit will properly restructure NDA for the interest of the Akufo Addo government, the source said.

Meanwhile the Acting CEO of the Authority, Dr Boniface Agambila was in April directed to restructure and make recommendations for onward approval by the appointing authority, which he failed woefully hence the ongoing exercise.

This portal has gathered that the senior officers especially the Authority Board Chairman went through hell in the hands of the Committee.

Currently, the six Member committee have taken control of the authority and are expected to reconstitute the entire set-up.

They are as well conducting similar investigations in the Upper West and the Upper East Region respectively, after which they well visit documented projects of NDA.
