Sam George Has Been Unfair to the NSA Boss- Arnold Baidoo

The ongoing disagreement between Sam George, the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, and Peter Twumasi, the Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), has been furthered by Ghanaian entertainment critic Arnold Asamoah Baidoo.

Sam George Has Been Unfair to the NSA Boss- Arnold Baidoo

Speaking on United Television's "United Showbiz," Arnold Asamoah Baidoo claimed that Ghanaian politician Sam George had not treated the head of the NSA fairly.

Arnold claims that anyone who believes that Sam George treated the director of the NSA fairly has to view the video again where the two got into an argument.

"I believe that Ghanaians, particularly Sam George, have treated the head of the NSA with extreme injustice. He said, "Anyone can watch that video again."

Arnold claimed that Sam George was more interested in a specific document involving the money the NSA director received from the head of Bhim Nation than he was in Stonebwoy.

"Sam George was making reference to a certain text. Stonebwoy was never Sam George's main concern. Rather than the Accra chapter of the NSA, he was more concerned with the funds that were deposited into the accounts of the Kumasi branch, he stated.

Arnold claims that the head of the NSA never stated that Stonebwoy paid a total of 70k Ghana cedis; instead, he just acknowledged that Stonebwoy deposited 70k Ghana cedis into the Kumasi account.

Arnold asserts Although Stonebwoy made the first payment of $70,00 to the Kumasi account, he paid the money in installments.

"That account had received the initial GH¢70,000 from Stonebwoy. Upon Sam George's inquiry on the funds, the head of the NSA acknowledged that Stonebwoy had deposited GH¢70,000 cedis into that particular account. No one asked Stonebwoy how much he paid any more. That did not imply that Stonebwoy had just paid GH¢70,000, he said.

"I am dissatisfied with the NSA for their inability to publish a statement that would have clarified the situation. Arnold expressed his disappointment in the NSA chief, and even Stonebwoy's manager had to agree to an interview after realizing the controversy was generating GH¢100,000 in media attention.
