SA arrests 20 suspects in Zuma-linked riots

Twenty persons are believed to have started the riots that erupted throughout portions of South Africa in July of last year, according to authorities there.

The rioting that broke out when former president Jacob Zuma was imprisoned for contempt of court claimed the lives of about 350 people.

Six regions saw the execution of special, coordinated police raids as part of an operation that relied heavily on a thorough search of social media posts to identify potential agitators.

Those arrested are due to appear in court in Durban on Friday.
