Ranking Member Of Local Government Committee Hints to resist Government Collecting Property Rate

Member of Parliament for the Odododiodo Constituency, Mr. Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye, has hinted at his side's resolve to resist any attempt by the government through the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) to collect property rates instead of the various assemblies

After further deliberations, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament ordered for the sector minister to report to Parliament.

He noted that even as of now, the assemblies have not had been created with their funds.
In addition to the earlier suggested the assemblies should be equipped with the needed logistics.
