Anas Aremeyaw Anas has thrown down the gauntlet to African journalist to continually serve as a beam of light to twinkle on evil acts effected and executed by influential figures in the various society to bring peace, sanity and transparency among civilians.

Anas was part of invited personnel on a two-day McArthur funded a workshop on Investigative Journalism at the Faculty of Communication, Bayero University, Kano Nigeria. The Ghanaian undercover Investigative journalist sharing experiences on Enemies of the Nation’, ‘Betraying the Game’ and ‘Corruption in Ghana Judiciary’, warned undertakers on the risk of fighting corruption in the society yet the liberty and ease it creates for the society and its inhabitants is rewarding. He expressed how Africa may perhaps be a better place if dishonest leaders are nipped in the bud.

The founder of Tiger Eye made known that Journalism is a tool that promotes accountability, respect for the law and empowerment to right societal wrongs therefore correspondent must do well to engage it in their work to better life and promote a healthy living among men.

He encouraged the Nigerian press to put up effort in eradicating the bulk rate of corruption in the country with determination and improved application of knowledge.
