The queen mother of Ekumfi Swedru in the Ekumfi District of the Central Region, Nana Adwoa Enyinfua III has urged the youth in her community to take their education seriously.

The queen mother also advised the adolescent age especially the girls not to be deceived by men who pretend to love and focus on their education.

Speaking to Central Regional Soireenews correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, the queen mother of Ekumfi Swedru, Nana Adwoa Enyinfua III said, education plays a vital role in the life of every individual, the nation and the world at large.

She also added that schooling is the only way that brings equality to the rural and urban, rich and poor. 

The Queen-mother, therefore, encouraged the youth to take advantage of the free SHS to shape their future by furthering to the tertiary level to be of great benefit to their communities.

The Parish persists of Saint Paul Catholic Church in Mankessim, Rev Father Godfred Arhin Odoom on his part educated the youth on the necessity of using the social media and internet for the studies and counselled them not to abuse its purpose.

Rev Father Godfred Arhin Odoom also directed the youth not to spend all their precious hours engaging in fraudulent activities and watching immoral videos which do not help their lives.
