Parliamentary hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lower West Akim Constituency of the Western Region, Mr. Owen Kwame Frimpong, who is affectionately called Darling Boy, has pledged his outfit commitment to improve educational infrastructures at the various villages and towns within the constituency, if given the nod to win the upcoming NDC primaries and subsequently wrestle the parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections.

This, according to the young Ghanaian entrepreneur, would not only facilitate the academic progress of the various schools in the constituency but it would position the schools to accommodate more school going age children in the constituency.
Mr. Frimpong gave the foregoing promise when he mounted a podium to address chiefs, queen-mothers, politicians, youths, students including other opinion and traditional office holders at the fund raising held at Topase to support its Methodist School Educational Infrastructure Project.

Mr. Frimpong who was speaking as a guest speaker of the event through his Darling Boy Foundation donated GH¢1000.00, ten bags of cement and three ceiling fans all in the name of NDC, to support Topase Methodist School Project. He received a round of applauses from the teeming crowds gathered at the event.
Darling Boy whose name has become a household name for his supports he has given to the vulnerable persons in the society in the electoral areas within the constituency further promised to continue to enhance educational infrastructure of Topase Methodist School.

He thanked the organisers for having confident in him together with the leadership of his Darling Boy Foundation to invite us to participate in the event to raise funds to Topase Methodist school building project.
 
"We are grateful to you for inviting me and the leadership of my Darling Boy Foundation. This is because they say education is gaining to a success. And that as l am standing here in front of you, l am also one of the persons/ candidates who is contesting parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NDC in the Lower West Akim.

"So l need your prayers, blessings and supports to win the incoming NDC primaries which would enable me to lead the NDC to win the Lower West Akim parliamentary seat for the party," Mr Frimpong told the crowds.
 
"We have decided to support this educational infrastructure development project of the  Topase Methodist School because as a person, l am very passionate about the educational infrastructure projects of the schools in the area. And that has informed my decision to support this initiative because l think all the students in Topase Methodist School to learn in the conducive and favourable environment so that they easily understand the teachings from their teachers," the philanthropist added.

Following this development, Mr Frimpong stressed that when given the nod for him to win the seat from the NPP in the 2024 polls, he would priotise education to ensure educational infrastructures in the various electoral areas within the constituency were expanded to create opportunities for all school going age children to access both basic and secretary education.

The young politician advised the students in the constituency to learn hard to pass their examination well in order to achieve the high academic success.
