Properties Worth Over Millions Lost In Vehicle Fire Disaster At Assin Kyekyewere
Properties worth over millions of Ghana cedis has gone burnt in the fire disaster which has created fear and panic in the area.

Commercial buse with registration Number GT-5333-20 conveying 45 passengers from Tarkoradi in the Western Region of Ghana to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region caught fire and burnt to ashes at Assin Kyekyewere in the Assin South of the Central Region.
Properties worth over millions of Ghana cedis has gone burnt in the fire disaster which has created fear and panic in the area.
The incident happened at Assin Kyekyewere in front of Assin South Zoomlion Office on Thursday, April 13, 2023 around 1: o'clock am.
According to the Driver Kwame Sarpong, he smelled something strange and he opened the engine to found out smokes coming from the engine, the overheated engine exploded eventually and start burning.
Alarmed bystanders run off shouting for help while the vehicle kept blazing. The driver and the residents at scene tried to control the fire with fire extinguisher, sand and water but they couldn't control the fire.
Several calls were made to the Fire Service and the Police Police but they were late and the bus together with things of the passengers including visa and travelling passport burn to ashes.
The car is still at the scene as at the time of filling this report
