President Akufo-Addo addresses an economics-related topic on Obaatanpa Radio.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, the president of the Republic of Ghana, has stated that God endowed everyone with wisdom, and there are numerous types of education. 

Speaking on Obaatanpa Radio, the President claims that the effectiveness of free education is evidenced by the significant increases in rates in English and mathematics, among other subjects, in the Wassce. 

"1,765,977 youth have enrolled in the Free Senior High School" (SHS). The most youthful individuals in SHS," he emphasized. 

He continued by saying that there had been excellent performance across the board. As of 2016, there has been a considerable improvement in mathematics by 20%-54.1% and English by 53%-54%. 

"How can anyone claim that it has not been good? He said, "There has been a significant improvement.

He highlighted that although public sector schools are accessible to everyone, individuals who wish to pay for their wards' senior high school tuition may also send them there. 

"At first, many thought I couldn't be President of Ghana because of my height," he continued. 

"We are not the first nation to start offering free SHS. According to him, the USA introduced the free SHS policy first.
