General secretary of Teachers and Educational workers Union (TEWU), Mr Mark Dankyira Korankye has revealed that its members have lost trust in the executives "our members don't even believe anything we say again because it looks as if we have let them down.
"For this reason, we are given the government up to the 15th of this month, should they fail to address the issue of paying the professional development allowance to the non teaching staff we will meet and the necessary steps that need to be taken will be taken," he noted.
Speaking at the 2nd biennial delegates conference and training workshop of the association of educational accountants, Ghana in cape coast on the theme, ensuring effective and efficient resources management in Ghana education service: the role of the accountant.
He mentioned this has happened from 2020, 2021 to 2022, hence we will therefore not allow it to happen again in 2023 without getting any feedback.
Mr indicated that Ghana education service have deserted the non-teaching staff, saying without the non-teaching staff the service wouldn't be complete therefore they should endeavour to give to the non-teaching staff what they give the teachers equity because fairness does not give rise to misunderstanding and therefore appeal to the government to do the needful. 
Vice chairman of the association of educational accountants, Mr Felix  Adu Nyame on his part called on government to listen to their mother union to settle them with their grievances especially on their professional development allowance.
