Premier League players from the 20 clubs have maintained their stance that Black Lives Matter hence their “singular objective of eradicating racial prejudice wherever it exists.”

Racism escalated to its peak when some cities in the United States of America and across the world took to the streets to protest and uncover the partition and chaos racism can create following an unarmed George Floyd, a black American’s death when a white Minneapolis officer knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes to pin him down.

Individual players and football clubs in England expressed discontent at the act and drummed up support for the Black Lives Matter Movement.

The Premier League has been brought to a standstill for almost three months due to the coronavirus pandemic and its return is scheduled to June 17. The players together with The FA, EFL, PFA, LMA, PGMOL have publicized the detriment of the disease and the need to kick away such habits.

The campaign is aimed at educating football stakeholders on how racism should not be entertained in the modern game.
