Police Chief Goes Berserk!-Threatens to Beat Journalist, Elder

The Police Commander in charge of the Asesewa District Police Station in the Eastern Region, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jeremiah Alalewas reported to have vented his anger at journalists, elders and land developers in Krobo community.

According to the information available to this news outlet, the senior police got furious at the journalist after this reporter has called the police chief to ask him a few questions.

Our reporter placed a call to DSP Jeremiah Alale to find out the true state of the issue and the banter between the reporter was unpleasant because the police commander of Asesewa threatened to beat the said reporter and even went ahead to tell him if he gets hold of him, he will smell pepper.

One Elder Joseph from Mr. Opata's camp who tried to calm the situation down was equally threatened by the police commander, who demanded to know his house from our reporter via WhatsApp.

He sought for the direction of Elder Joseph's house from our reporter via WhatsApp so he can go there and beat him and his family with his men to death.

DSP Jeremiah Alale accused the reporter of doing the bidding of one Tuah who the reporter said he did not even have any idea who that Tuah is but rather he was contacted and briefed by the land owners.

The life threatening incident occurred when some so-called big men at the Bank of Ghana (BoG) were said to have been using the Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's name to claim some lands in Krobo land, with the help of DSP Alale, who is intimidating the landowners with his men.

This was corroborated by some of the land owners in Krobo after speaking with soireenews.com
