The National Peace Council (NPC) has condemned the last Sunday’s clash between some NPP and NDC supporters at James Town in the Odododiodio Constituency in Accra.

The NPC is imploring to the police to expedite investigation into the matter, to bring the perpetrators to book.

This the council said, will serve as a deterrent to other Ghanaians, as the country gears towards its general elections.

The Executive Secretary of the NPC, Mr George Amoh, in an interview with the Daily Graphic said in the face of public education on the need for political parties to conduct their activities peacefully, it was surprising that supporters of the two parties would resort to violence.
