Paul Pogba refused to rule out an exit or continue his stay at Manchester United after the Red Devils 3-0 win against Aston Villa.

The Frenchman scored the third goal at the Villa Park and seems settled in the United squad since his recovery from injury following a lengthy lay off before the coronavirus struck.

 

 

The former Juventus midfielder has been strongly linked to Real Madrid and is in the final stage of his contract.

Asked whether he would prefer staying at Old Trafford and help Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side challenge for honors next season, the world cup winner rotated the answer and instead, spoke of what he wants to achieve with the club this season.

"Right now, I've been injured for a long time; I am just focused on myself. I just want to help the team as much as l can. This year we have two goals: to go for the Europa Cup and the FA Cup,” Pogba told Sky Sports.

His answer has left Red Devils fans thinking that the player might desire a move after the current campaign as Zidane is keen to sign Pogba for the upcoming football season although manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before the game spoke that he is hopeful the midfielder would extend his stay at Old Trafford.
