Crystal Palace have made a £24m bid for Liverpool youngster, Rhian Brewster according to Sky Sports

The offer includes an option for Liverpool to have the first refusal, and buy the player back for £37m in the future.

talkSPORTS reported that Roy Hodgson is not sure if Wilfried Zaha will stay at Crystal Palace beyond this transfer window hence the need to bring in an attacker following their 3-1 win at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

The 20-year-old Reds player was impressive during his season loan at Swansea City, playing 21 matches and scored 11 goals before joining Liverpool for pre-season ahead of the new season.

 

 

The England U-21 forward was reportedly in the plans of Jürgen Klopp for the new season as a but the arrivals of Diogo Jota and Thiago Alcantara has brought many options for the manager at the forward and centre departments.

The manager according to the news outlet is prepared to let the forward leave with the Reds needing funds to cover the £70m purchase of the recent two signings at Anfield.

Swansea were eager to get hold of Brewster but they seem not absorbed by Liverpool’s buyout clause hence Palace intense pursuit.

Roy Hodgson’s influence is key in the Eagle’s bid seeing the youngster’s ability at the Academy whiles serving as the Reds manager.

The Reds have already sold 18-year-old Dutchman, Ki-Jana Hoever to Wolverhampton Wanderers for an initial £10m fee.
