 According to Mozambican officials, 158,000 people may be impacted by Cyclone Freddy when it makes landfall in Zambezia, a province in the country's center.

Late on Friday, the cyclone is anticipated to make impact on the coast of central Mozambique.

After wreaking devastation in late February, Cyclone Freddy is returning to Mozambique.

It might become known as the tropical cyclone with the longest duration in history.

According to the national agency for natural disasters' projections, 8,000 of those impacted may require urgent humanitarian assistance.

All schools are to be closed starting this Friday, according to the provincial administration.
