Our school structure is now a death trap - Kobeda no. 1 headmistress laments
Kobeda no. 1 basic school

Kobeda No. 1 is a farming community under Kintampo North Municipal and has a Basic School with a population of about 70-80 pupils ranging from Class 1-5.

According to the Headmistress, Madam Fati Seidu in an interview with the media explained that anytime there is a sign of rain, they have to close the students for their safety because of the bad structure of the school.

She made mention that, teaching and learning are difficult because the teachers travel a long distance every working day from Kintampo to the community since there is no staff accommodation.

The Unit Committee Chairman, Mr Apana Moses also added that, in fact, the community has been in existence from time immemorial but has never benefited anything from the government so they are pleading with the Ghana Education Service, Kintampo North Municipal Assembly as well as the Nana Addo's listening Government to come to their aid or the parents of such deprived students in the school will not also vote in subsequent elections.

The Headmistress Madam Fati Seidu and Mr Apana Moses made this known to the media last Friday, 28th May 2021 which was marked as the World Menstrual Hygiene Day when visited the Kobeda No. 1 community with Nurses to educate the people on Menstrual.
