The Omanhene of seikwa Nana. Osaberima Debrah Agyei Ill and his sub-chiefs in a durbar ground at Degedege near Seikwa in the Tain district of the Bono Region have created new by-laws for the regulations of the Degedege community.

In an interview with the Assemblyman for Atomfoso electoral area, Honorable Duah Patrick on behalf of the chiefs told Wofa Achi on Tain FM that, the elders reasoned very well before the creation of the new bye-laws policy. And these new bye-laws are to help in the development of the community which includes:

Parents who may be found guilty of not taking good care of their children will lead to teenage pregnancy leading to school drop-out in the community will be summoned to the chief palace to face the punishment and will be fine, not less than gh500.

Again, since Degedege is the neighboring town to Seikwa and the market day at Seikwa is Friday, the chiefs have urged that no one from the community should on that day go to the farm to help improve businesses in the area. And also on taboos day, no one should be seen on the farm road.

Lastly, he said they discovered that a lot of people in the community have an interest in funeral rites which is retrogressing improvement in the community so they have canceled the celebration one week fter the death of someone except the elders.

He continued by saying that all lawbreakers will face their wrath.

In conclusion, since education is the key to success the development committee established by the District Chief Executive ( DCE) Honorable Dr. Lucy Acheampong will start a fund raising to generate funds which will be used to help especially brilliant but needy students and in the development of schools in the community. So he pleaded with the people to try their possible best in raising the fund.
