Obuasi East: Save Our Children From Future Disaster--Assembly Man Appeals To Government
Speaking in an interview on Shaft Fm monitored by Soireenews.com the Assembly man for Pomposo, Honourable Kwadwo Boafo is appealing to government to help fix the three bridges to avoid future occurrences.

The residents of Obuasi East District in the Àshanti Region are appealing to government to call back the contractor who constructed the road from Adansi Asokwa to Obuasi Boete.
According to the Assembly member, his call on the government has become necessary because it is urgent importance for the contractor to expand the three bridges namely, Pompo bridge in Pomposo, stand Ford bridge in Akaporiso and Boss man bridge all within the Obuasi East District.
Speaking in an interview on Shaft Fm monitored by Soireenews.com the Assembly man for Pomposo, Honourable Kwadwo Boafo is appealing to government to help fix the three bridges to avoid future occurrences.
He said he has to spend time every morning to come over the bridge to assist school children before going to work.
He expressed fear that the school children sharing same bridge with heavy vehicles on such a high way is something that needs urgent attention.
He said he is appealing to Dr.Boakye Yiadom to channel this situation to parliament for urgent solution.
"Recently I put reflectors on the bridge so that heavy vehicles crossing the bridge could see ahead," he noted.
Honourable Kwadwo Boafo appealed to the Member of Parliament for Obuasi East, Dr. Boakye Yiadom to commission the toilet in Pomposo R/C to help the teachers and the children as well.
He said the toilet which was built by Dr Boakye Yiadom about four years ago has been abandoned making the residents to defecate around.
He said the toilet is about 95%complete so he is appealing to Dr. Boakye Yiadom to commission it for the school.
