Breaking: Chief Imam of Upper East Region Passes on

The Upper East Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Tahir Saeed is dead, Soireenews can confirm.

He passed on today Saturday 19th February 2022 at his home town in Bolgatanga of the Upper East Region.

The late Chief Imam who doubles as National Chairman of the Tijjaniya Muslim Council of Ghana assumed the Imamship position three months ago.

Burials which will be led by Sheikh Abdul Failu Jallo is scheduled for tomorrow Sunday at 10:00 in the morning.

It is with a heavy heart filled with sadness and pain that we convey to you the sad news of the demise of Sheikh Alhaji Tahir Saeed (Regional Chief Imam for Upper East region and also the National Chairman of Tijjaniyya Muslim Council of Ghana )
He passed on today at Bolgatanga
