NPP Government to partner religious bodies for Ahafo development - Minister declares

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr. George Yaw Boakye has declared the NPP government’s commitment to working closely with various religious bodies in the region, to accelerate development.

According to him, the government alone cannot facilitate the growth of the newly created regions without the partnership with religious bodies, therefore it is committed to working with them to stimulate the areas of education, health infrastructure deficit, and jobs.

Mr. George Boakye made the declaration during his visit to the Ahafo Regional Chief Imam, Green View Ghana Conference of SDA-Ahafo, Pentecost, Assemblies of God among others.

He assured that the government and his office are opened to receive suggestions and other moves intended to facilitate the growth of the Ahafo- Region.

The President of Green View Ghana Conference of SDA- Ahafo, Pastor Maxwell Ntim Antwi lauded the historic visit and assured the minister to offer their quota to the progress of Ahafo.

The Ahafo Regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Abdullai Yusif Jihad also prayed for the Regional Minister to succeed in the name of almighty Allah.
