Nigerian man embarking on Guinness World Record cry-a-thon goes partially blind
In an odd attempt to break the Guinness World Record, Tembu Ebere, a Nigerian, has partially lost his sight by crying continually for 100 hours.
In a social media post that went viral a few days ago, he indicated interest in beginning a seven-day non-stop cry-a-thon.
In a disappointing turn of events, Ebere has disclosed that his incessant crying has temporarily blinded him throughout his maniacal drive to accomplish this achievement.
He claimed in a recent interview with the BBC that he first went into a 45-minute period of temporary blindness after first developing painful headaches, puffy eyes, and a swollen face from the unrelenting crying.
He remarked, reiterating his determination to complete his mission, "I had to re-strategize and reduce my wailing."
