It wasn't Neymar's night at the Estadio da Luz.

The Brazilian failed to make a telling impact as Paris Saint-Germain were beaten by Bayern Munich in the Champions League final.

 

 

It was a great chance for the forward to justify his move to Paris in 2017, but it was an opportunity missed in the end.

At full time, Neymar struggled to hold back the tears as the magnitude of the defeat sank in while sitting on the PSG bench.

When he went up to collect his medal, he was consoled by the likes of Thomas Tuchel and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
