Newcastle’s take-over has been given the green light by the Premier League - official confirmation will soon be made.

The Sun reported that the league bosses after series of studies have permitted the £300m Saudi deal despite series of objections due to Saudi Arabia’s alleged involvement in the illegal streaming of Premier League matches which is a danger to the value of the league’ right worldwide.

Bein sports who were involved in cautioning the PL to block the deal asked the authorities, “consider carefully all the implications” of welcoming another Saudi investment.

Reports reveal that the announcement of the deal will be dictated by the owners. Mike Ashley is said to be focusing on other business since the takeover was lodged with the PL last month.

According to the Gazette, the Newcastle players are also expecting the announcement after returning to training since the break of the season due to the coronavirus in March. Manager, Steve Bruce in an interview expressed that it’s a good step for the club to be competitive in the hands of new owners, something he is willing to be a part of.

“If it's good for Newcastle, and the club are going to try to compete with these teams, to be part of it would be great,” said the 59-year-old. “I’d love to see it, and I'd love to be part of it.”

Mauricio Pochettino and Rafael Benitez have been linked to replace the 59-year old at Newcastle with players like Gareth Bale, Coutinho, and Koulibaly all recognized to make a move when the takeover is complete.
