New Dormaa road will be completed by close of this year”- contractor assures 

The contractors working on the New Dormaa road have assured us that the road will be completed by the close of the year, 2022.

According to the Chief Executive for Sames Company Limited, Samuel Opoku the constructions firm working on the road, the project which is about 70%complete will be handed over to the government for commission before the end of the year.
“We don’t have a problem with financing now. Funds are available for us and by the end of this year, if everything goes according to our wish, I can assure you that we will finish everything”, Mr. Samuel Opoku stated whiles addressing the concerns of the residents over the delay of the project on Ark In the Morning monitored by Soiree News Nana Ama Asiedu.
This means residents living in New Dormaa - Kotokrom / Yawhima communities will have a sigh of relief from the ongoing construction works on the stretch by the close of the year.
Mr. Samuel Opoku, however, called for support from the residents and commuters plying the road on daily basis to also respect the safety of the workers.
“We will also appeal to the drivers to slow down when using the road. It will help reduce the dust”, Mr. Samuel Opoku appealed.
