NDC Juaben South Primaries: Vote For Dr. Martin Ofei To Win The Race-NDC Supporters Appeal To Delegates

Thousands of the supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the New Juaben South Constituency, of the Eastern Region, have appealed to the delegates and members of the NDC to give the potential parliamentary hopeful of the NDC in the constituency, Dr. Martin Ofei the nod for a ‘new dawn’ to propel development in all aspects of the area.

"We thus calling on all of you, the true NDC supporters within New Juaben South Constituency, to come out boldly and support Dr. Martin Ofei, campaign and vote for him to lead the party," the supported further appealed to the delegates.

They indicated that "The right of choice is unfettered. Each and everyone of  us has the right to support the candidate of their choice without fear or favour. That is democracy; we agree to disagree and that doesn't make us enemies. 

The news item captured by Soireenews.com, attributed to Dan Wajenga who served as the spokesperson for the supporters of the NDC in that New Juaben South Constituency reads part: "I am lost as to why people perceived their political opponents even in an internal contest as adversaries. 

This does not show political maturity. It is  symptomatic of cowardice and lack of confidence.

We should learn to tolerate people with opposing views in order to justify the right to our stands. 

Those you describe enemies may not have a word better than to reciprocate. They will also call you an enemy.

We should have the courage to come out boldly in support of our preferred candidates irrespective of intimidation. 

I have followed discussions  and debates on this platform and I have come to a decision point based on what goes on here and outside of the platform.

 I have also gone back to the memory lane and compared contributions, presence and qualities of the candidates as I know them. 

One man stands most suitable for the position of parliamentary candidate of the Ndc  in the coming general election. This man has served and supported the party immensely. 

I personally do not see why we can sacrifice such a hardworking party person for a newcomer. 

I am thus calling on all of you, the true NDC supporters within  New Juaben South Constituency, to come out boldly and support Dr. Martin Ofei, campaign and vote for him to lead the party. 

We may win the seat as a big surprise irrespective of the candidate we may feature against that of the NPP.

 A loss to NPP SEE IF in this constituency may not be a surprise at all because the space is not our stronghold. 

It is important to win the parliamentary seat for the Ndc but that is not the ultimate.  

The ultimate is working assiduously to ensure a win for NDC's presidential candidate in the 2024 general election. 

Stay cool and focus the winner in the long run will be the NDC!
