NDC Needs Grassroots Energy to Reorganize- Vice Chairman Ransford Boakye.

The Eastern Regional Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ransford Owusu Boakye has met with Suhum NDC Executive Members of the Opposition National Democratic Congress in the Eastern Region as part of an effort of the party's reorganisation.

According to him, without addressing the concerns of the branch and constituency executives, the opposition NDC cannot properly reorganise its machinery and effectively strategize to capture power in 2024.

The Regional Executive member of the opposition party was addressing the Suhum NDC party Former Council of the Elders, new Executives and past Executives members at the Marshall Lodge of the Suhum Constituency during an official party outreach program in the region.

The outreach forms part of the party’s reorganization efforts towards the 2024 general elections.

Eastern Regional Vice Chairman Ransford Owusu Boakye said that the goal of coming to meet the local executives in the Constituency is to interact with them to energise themselves and bring the base of the NDC out of apathy for effective reorganization towards the election 2024.

Addressing the concerns of our branch and constituency executives is a key to the NDC’s reorganization effort and not waiting till 2024.

He continued that because of this, he has come to Suhum to encourage the executives as part of the NDC’s outreach program together with the local branches and Constituency leadership.

In what seems like a subtle suggestion of a current disconnect between party leadership and the party base, Vice Chairman Ransford concluded that It is always important to touch base with the grassroots to motivate them to rekindle the spirit of reorganisation.

The Eastern Regional Organizer, Hackman Kabore said the opposition NDC has officially begun its reorganization efforts to prepare itself for the 2024 general elections through a Constituency outreach program interacting with the party base involving selected party leaders for reorganisation.
It has also begun to encourage the members to work hard to win the 2024 general elections.

He, therefore, appealed to the NDC Members in Suhum that they should unite and work hard so that they can win the Suhum seat for the NDC.

The Eastern Regional Organizer Hackman Kabore said, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is ready to take up power in 2024 and deliver Ghanaians from the present socio-economic hardships, he stated.

He said bad leadership under the current new patriotic party (NPP) administration had thrown the country into an economic abyss and it was only the NDC that could rescue the country from the present mess, he said.
