My Re-appointment By President Akufo-Addo Is God Intervention -Sefwi Akontombra DCE Speaks

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sefwi Akontombra District of the Western North Region, Mr Yawson Amoah has thanked the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his re-appointment.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sefwi Akontombra District of the Western North Region, Mr Yawson Amoah, has congratulated President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for confident repose in him following his re-appoint.

Speaking in an interview with Soireenews, Mr Amoah stated that, his second appointment as the DCE is clear evidence of the numerous works he has done to the expectation of constituents to transform the Sefwi Akontombra District.

"My reappointment by our His Excellency President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is God intervention and l so would not disappoint the President and the people in the district" Amoah assured.

President Akuffo-Addo on his two days working visit to the Western North Region made his first appointment in the selection of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) at Sefwi Akontombra.
 
President made this pronouncement at Sefwi Akontombra when he paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Sefwi Akontombra 

“As the MP and the Chief said that they want Hon Amoah Yawson to be maintained as DCE for Akontombra, I announce my first MMDCE appointment, Hon Amoah Yawson is my first DCE nominee," Nana Addo noted.”l

According to the Member of Parliament for Akontombra Constituency, he appealed to President Akufo-Addo Addo to maintain his incumbent DCE to continue the good works they are doing for the constituency to recapture the seat again.

Speaking in an interview with Soireenews, Mr Amoah expressed his profound gratitude to President Akufo-Addo for giving him the second mandate and assured the President that he is going to help him at the local government level to improve the lives of the local people.

He said the movement of the President to announce his appointment in the public function did not happen anywhere in this country before and further assured President Akufo-Addo to help him complete all his social and infrastructure intervention projects and programmes in the district.

He further congratulated the MP, the NPP Council of Elders, polling station and constituency executives, chiefs and Assembly members for supporting him to be reappointed the second term to run the administrative affairs of the district.

He further commended President Akufo-Addo for bringing the One-District One-District project to the area which would generate direct employment for the unemployed youth in the district.

He also thanked the president for the establishment of the Government Hospital in the area, saying that for the past 13 years of the formation of the district, they lacked a government hospital.
