MzVee has revealed the pressure on her to get married.

Her mother calls every morning to remind her that she's not getting any younger and that she's already 29, she confessed.

In an interview with ZionFelix, she explained how her mother expects her to get married out of nowhere without properly settling into relationships first.

Only two relationships has she been privileged to be in, and both relationships got destroyed even though she was expecting them to lead to marriages.

"Every morning she calls me I don’t know that there is a timetable for getting married. She says I have promised her since 25 and I am now getting to 29,"

"I cannot promise her. If I do I am dead. I do not know when I’ll get married and I feel it is not something I can just get up and do – it has to be organic. I have been in one or two relationships,"

According to her, there is no timetable for marriage so she would prefer to take her time to make the proper choice that will lead to a fruitful long-lasting relationship instead of the previous ones she has had.

She however admitted that she currently in a serious relationship but she knows not if this particular one will be the one to take her to the altar.

"Of course, the goal is to the last point and thus marriage but I do not understand what is happening. It’s not too clear for me,"

“I’ve dated just twice in my life so I don’t even think I have too much experience with relationships…I’ve had just two boyfriends,” she maintained.

MzVee is an Afropop, dancehall, and R&B artiste. Her debut solo album features several hit singles including 'Borkor Borkor', 'Natural Girl', and 'Dancehall Queen'.
