My Life Is  In Danger! —As Nana Kwesi Alhaji of Gomoa Fetteh & His Aide, Nana Manso Have Threatened To Kill Me

The journalist had a shock of his life when Nana Kwesi Kwansah II popularly known as Kwasi Alhaji and his Linguist, Nana Manso Eric Duodu via telephone called him on Friday November 11, 2022 and threatened to kill him.

Despite the peaceful atmosphere and the level of freedom of speech and the press Ghanaians are enjoying under the ruling of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), there are still self seeking individuals who would want the country to revert to its dark days, when coughing at the wrong time could result in an arrest.

For exercising his freedom of speech and his duty as a journalist with integrity to educate and inform, the senior journalist, Mr. Freeman Koryekor Awlesu's life is in danger and under serious threat, compiling the visibly distraught media practitioner to make save of soul (SOS) call to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to, immediately come to his aid.

The journalist had a shock of his life when Nana Kwesi Kwansah II popularly known as Kwasi Alhaji and his Linguist, Nana Manso Eric Duodu via telephone called him on Friday November 11, 2022 and threatened to kill him.

Mr Kwasi Alhaji stated categorically that the journalist would die like how one seasoned journalist by name Nana Boamah has been killed, and the people who he was following abandoned his funeral rite on his family. 

"You are going to spend monies that you have been collecting from the people that you are following to cure your children who would be suffering from disease or illness; and you are also going to die like how Nana Boamah, the journalist who was following them died. You and your mother are all fools," Mr. Kwasi Alhaji jabs, though he claims to be a traditional office holder.

Earlier, the journalist had already received a death threat from he Kwesi Alhaji and Mr. Eric Duodu, who stating that the journalist would soon be rewarded.

However, an official complaint goes to the Inspector General of Police. This official report's copy as well goes to  the National Security Coordinator, the President of the Ghana Journalist Association, the President of the World Association of Newspapers, and the media houses.
