My depression was brought on by my affection for my daughters—Funny Face

"My children's love put me into that condition; my buttocks didn't get me through it. I was so devoted to my daughters that I began to weep along with them when they fell and sobbed while crawling.

My depression was brought on by my affection for my daughters—Funny Face

Benson Nana Oduro Boateng, better known by his stage name Funny Face, acknowledged in a recent interview that he is unaware of the whereabouts of his two daughters.

The Ghanaian comedian and actor, who rose to fame on the now-defunct television program Chorkor Trotro, admitted that he has given up on the notion of searching for them to enhance his mental health.

He recently admitted that his manager was in constant communication with his twin daughters Bella and Ella even though he didn't know where they were at the time.

The topic of Funny Face's melancholy was just one of many that were discussed.

Contrary to common belief, he said, it was his unwavering love for his daughters rather than his crazy obsession with buttocks that had driven him into depression.

"I am a naturally emotional person who genuinely loves other people's children, so how much do I adore my own? As a result, when they left me, I was unable to handle it and broke down. It was so terrible that when I see their toys in the room, my triggers increase to level 10," he said.

Funny Face admitted that his time spent in a mental health institution helped him heal.

"You do not have an issue; yours is your emotions, they told me when I went to the psychiatric hospital. You are fine once you have control over your feelings. Everyone understands that you sacrifice everything for your children, so you should now work on improving your mental health, he advised.
