In our part of the world, it could seem unattainable to pursue both acting and the highest political office in the nation.

My calling is to lead Ghana as president - Prince David Osei claims

Actor Prince David Osei, who is adamant that he has a calling to someday be the first gentleman of Ghana, seems unfazed by this, nevertheless.

Yesterday, the About to Wed actor asked his fellow entertainment business colleagues to help him fulfill his dream of becoming a politician in an Instagram post.

With the words "What is written is written," Prince David said that although he had long since rejected the goal of entering politics, the task has now become impossible.

“No matter how hard I try to avoid the calling, everything shows I have to be the president someday ????. That's why my friends in the game don't want to support me ????. But what is written is written… Obama couldn't pay for his parking tickets, two years later he became the president of ????????. Investors, please gather here ooo ????????????... With God, everything is possible.”

Fans and colleagues have responded to his declaration that he will run for the nation's highest office with mixed feelings; some have applauded his ambition, while others have questioned his suitability for such a big political post.

If Prince David is successful, he would join the increasing number of Ghanaian artists, like as his colleagues John Dumelo and Ebi Bright, who are running for political office.
