Ghanaian dancehall artist, Ras Kuuku, has said that if Ghanaian pastors continue to ignore the ban placed on public gatherings effected by the Ghanaian administration to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, musicians will begin to disobey too.

The artist was annoyed by the way pastors have been defiant in the wake of the spread of the Coronavirus, still holding church services in the country.

A prophetess was recently arraigned for organising a prayer camp and Ras Kuku claimed that the act of defiance came from the fact that the Men and Women of God thunk themselve bugger than the system.

“Mr President please Don’t listen to these pastors, if they gather in the their churches We will also organize our shows. They are not bigger than us,” he said.

Ras Kuuku has reacted to the executive decree by H.E Nana Addo during his second address to the Nation on the 7 coronavirus cases reported in Ghana, said: “all public gatherings including conferences, workshops, funerals, festivals, political rallies, sporting events and religious activities, such as services in churches and mosques, have been suspended for the next four weeks”.

Many celebrities have reacted to the ban , and organisers have effectively called off their programs in the country. Churches are however yet to get to grips with the degree as some are still hosting gatherings in different places.

The administration is strict with it rules, but rules and regulations are ineffective of the citizens do not afhere to the rules set by the administration.
