The Member of Parliament (MP) for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Dr Adomako Kissi has organised fully funded one-month fire skill management training for a total of 200 youth in fire Academy passed out in his constituency.

The MP equipped some youth of Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency with skills in fire management to enhance their chances of being employed by public organisations.

 Dr Kissi in collaboration with Ghana National Fire Service organised trained the constituency youth in the Fire Academy.

He expressed his commitment to addressing the developmental challenges of his constituents and said he will ensure that the youth acquire employable skills to guarantee their future.

On her part, Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency woman Organizer, Mrs Rosemond Addei expressed satisfaction at the commitment of participants towards the training by Hon. Adomako Kissi.

She said the training would not only afford them employable skills, but it will also help the youth chances of being employed by public organisations.

Some of the participants described the training as a good initiative as it has equipped them with the skills needed to be financially independent.

“I have benefitted from this opportunity that has been initiated by our MP. I have learnt various skills in fire fighting and I am sure that I can make a living out of it. It is a great initiative and I am grateful,” a participant expressed.
