GOVERNMENT of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo must immediately impress upon the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare and National Security Minister, Mr Albert Kan Dapaah to intervene and retrieve all the illegal guns/ firearms and dozens of cutlasses in the possession of some notorious thugs in Tettegu and its environs in the Greater Accra Region, the opinion leaders and concerned youth in Tettegu have disclosed.

According to them, President Akufo-Addo intervention is the surest way in solving the incessant killing of innocent people with guns by the notorious thugs in the area.
They disclosed that Mr Ebenezer Adzraku, Sosu Lisah and Tsorke Dzaka are the ring leaders who have allegedly been provided the guns, dozens of cutlasses, firearms and offensive weapons to the notorious thugs to mayhem to some innocent people in Tettegu. 

They indicated that this follows latest killing of a businessman, Emmanuel in Tettegi which occurred on Tuesday October 10, 2023 and called on the IGP and National Security Minister to order for the swooping of Tettegu to retrieve the guns from these thugs.
Police  officers with the Weija Divisional of the Ghana Police Service in the Greater Accra Region have arrested two notorious thugs in the persons of Quashie Dakudzi and Micheal at Tettegu for allegedly stabbing and killing a businessman at his rented house in Tettegu.
The gruesome murder of the business man which occured on Tuesday October 10, 2023 by two—Quashie Dakudzi and Micheal who are residents of Tettegu has been created tension, fear and panic in the area. 
The two, who were currently in police custody helping the police for investigation into the matter were reported to have used the kitchen knife to stab the abdomen of the businessman ,killing him instantly.
According to the information from the corridor of traditional power in Tettegu, Mr. Quashie Dakudzi and Micheal have allegedly attacked the man at his rented private house  owned by Adum when a fight ensued between Mr Quashie Dakudzi and Micheal on the one hand and victim on the other hand.
However, the killing of businessman has angered hundreds of opinion leaders and some concerned youth of Tettegu who have came out publicly to raise the red flag over shooting and killing incidents in Tettegu.
They disclosed that the current murder of the businessman has added to the three of the number of innocent people who have been killed in Tettegu within this year.
"We are not happy about the shooting and killing incidents in Tettegu we have reported the penetrators who were killing the persons to the police but whenever they were arrested their pay matters would rush to the police station to pay monies to the police officers of Weija Divisional of the Ghana Police Service and these these thugs would be granted bail," Mr Francis Novinyo Aziza on behalf of the opinion leaders in Tettegu stated.
Addressing a press conference in Accra on Thursday, the opinion leaders of Tettegu bemoaned the rampant shooting and killing of innocent people in connection of chieftaincy and land disputes in Tettegu .
They disclosed the names of Mr Quashie Dakudzi and Micheal were related to all related murder cases which have occurred in Tettegu.
"So far three persons have been killed in Tettegu but all the suspects who committed these heinous crime were granted bail and they are now moving free in the town. The government has not cared to help prosecute these suspected killers in the town 
"What is very shocking to hear was the claimed by these current murdered suspects that it was the man himself who has used knife to stab his abdomen in his rented storey house in Tettegu. The news we have not never heard before in Tettegu," they noted.
"What is currently happening in Tettegu would be escalated bloody clash very soon if the government security agencies had not taken security measures to avert the situation in the area. Because some people like Ebenezer Adzraku, Sosu Lisah and Tsorke Dzaka are the ring leaders who have allegedly be provided the guns and offensive weapons to the thugs to mayhem  to some innocent people in Tettegu. 
"However, we are saying that the police should arrest and prosecute these violent men in Tettegu," the opinion leaders told journalists.
They stressed that it is a high time for the 
government of President Akufo-Addo to impress upon the police to swoop the Tettegu enclave to retrieve all the guns and offensive weapons that these penetrators were using to kill innocent people in the area.
According to them, some violet men in Tettegu in the persons of Willie Agbozo, Kwaku Vodoli,Senyeli Avevor,Elias Debango,Kwamivi Avevor, Eklu Dorglo, Micheal Tsapu, Wonder Ageto and Mawuli Akpalu led by Nii Otsami Livingstine Atukpah have planned to allegedly visit violet attack at the chief of Tetregu, Nii Kofi Jumah I.
They indicated that these men were planning to install new chief in Tettegu while there a legitimate installed chief in the area who has not died.
The frightening development, according to them, has informed the decision of the Chief to write SoS letter to the Commender of Ghana Police Service at Weija Toll Booth Police Station to officially inform the senior police officer about the plans hatched by these thugs to kill Nii Kofi Kumah I to pave way for them to carry out their illegalities to install a new chief of the area.
In a one page letter which is in possession of this journalist reads in part; "Please kindly take note that tension is brewing over dialogical moves to install sub traditional office in Tettegu.
The letter continued that the "decadents are determined to create chieftaincy crisis in the Tettegu community and called on the IGP and government of President Akufo-Addo to intervene in the pressing matter."
